서울대학교 수학교육과를 졸업하여 동 대학원 수리과학부에서 석사, 박사학위를 취득했다. 주요 연구 분야는 수치해석, 전산 유체역학, 수학적 최적화, 인공지능 및 산업응용수학등이며, 관련 논문들을 SCIE급 국제학술지에 발표하였다. 한국산업응용수학회(KSIAM), 대한수학회(KMS), 한국전산유체공학회(KSCFE)회원으로 활동 중이며, 현재 한국산업응용수학회(KSIAM)에서 총무이사를 역임하고 있다. 
He graduated from the Department of Mathematics Education at Seoul National University, where he also received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematical Sciences. His research interests include numerical analysis, computational fluid dynamics, mathematical optimization, artificial intelligence, and industrial mathematics. He is an active member of the Korean Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (KSIAM), the Korean Mathematical Society (KMS), and the Korean Society for Computational Fluids Engineering (KSCFE), and currently serves as General Affairs Director of KSIAM.
